The Vancouver Wooden Boat Society recently held their Wood Boat Rendezvous in Snug Cove on Bowen Island.

There was a good turn out of wooden boats from around the lower mainland. Some member boats and some guest boats.

The attendees had a great time competing for prizes in a nautical knot tying contest as well as some other nautical games followed be a very informative seminar on painting and varnishing conducted by expert Sarah White.

On Saturday evening everyone enjoyed a wonderful pot-luck dinner on the dock.

All in all it was a very enjoyable weekend and all those who participated had a great time and are looking forward to next year.
